Mary, who paints under the name of "Hadije", will be donating her 24x48 inch acrylic painting on canvas of "Mother Mary of Sorrow" to Father Garcia and Holy Cross Catholic Church to show her appreciation for the past year she has attended Mass and for the many friendships she has enjoyed . It has been a beautiful journey for her and she wanted to give"something back". The painting will be dedicated on Sunday, February 26th at the 10:00 a.m. Mass in Palmetto, Fl.

Artist Mary DuCharme received recognition for her painting of Jesus (resembling stained glass) published by the Oregon Catholic Printing Co.. The picture will be gracing the covers of the Catholic Missals during Holy Week- Pentecost April 19 through June 18 in 15,000 Catholic Churches with a distribution of 1,500,000. Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Lafayette, Louisiana has already displayed a huge banner 3 ft by 12 ft of the painting in front of their Church - a very humbling and a very proud moment and blessing for Mary.
